Mary Ann has been a practicing occupational therapist since earning her Bachelor of Science degree from Kean University. She has worked in Morris County public school settings for 24 years. She joined the staff here at Pediatric Potentials 16 years ago.
Mary Ann is certified in the Sensory Integration and Praxis Test, as well as being a certified provider for The Listening Program. She has attended numerous continuing education courses including courses on The Alert Program, Brushing Protocol, Handwriting Without Tears, SOS Approach to Feeding, DIR Floortime, and dyspraxia. Mary Ann specializes here in treating children ages 1-10 with ADHD, sensory processing disorders, gross/fine motor delays and those on the autism spectrum. Mary Ann also currently works in Rockaway Township Public Schools with preschoolers through 5th grade. Her students include those with Down's Syndrome, autism and learning disabilities. Mary Anne is certified as an Advanced Mentored Clinician in SPD Level 1, having completed the Advanced Intensive Mentorship from the Sensory Processing Foundation.
Mary Ann is the mother of two school-age boys. She credits her background in sensory integration with providing her with tools as a parent and as a professional. She particularly enjoys collaborating with her students' families. She loves the positive working environment here as well as the availability for collaboration between therapists.
