Amy Del Turco (the former Amy Stoner) has been an occupational therapist for 11 years. She now works primarily with children on the autistic spectrum in the public schools and in private practice settings. Her focus includes fine motor skills, handwriting, ADHD, sensory integration and sensory processing. She is experienced using an ABA (applied behavioral analysis) based model for autism, as well as with child directed play. Amy has done early intervention for children to age 3, and supervised OT students and assistants.
Amy is certified in both SIPT and Interactive Metronome. She is trained in pediatric developmental pilates, which can improve muscle strength and length and body awareness. Amy is certified as an Advanced Mentored Clinician in SPD Level 1, having completed the Advanced Intensive Mentorship from the Sensory Processing Foundation.
