Amy Feldman

Amy Feldman, OTR/L is Board certified in Pediatrics. She graduated from Buffalo University is 1981, and has over 25 years of experience practicing Occupational Therapy. Her broad base of treatment settings includes sensory gyms, public/private schools and early intervention home-based therapy, in the natural environment.

She is Sensory Integration trained. Certifications include, Pediatric Neurodevelopmental Therapy and two Listening Programs by Advanced Brain Technologies (In-time and the Interactive Metronome).

Amy feels fortunate to work with parents and their children who have developmental delays, autism and sensory processing disorders in addition to other learning challenges. Her treatment plans provide home programs, as she believes parents are the most influential people and the greatest reinforcers in a child’s life. Optimization of benefit from therapy sessions occur with home carryover.

Helping children achieve their greatest potential while enjoying the process is her methodology. When a child is actively engaged in the process of learning it is most productive.

When not at work, Amy’s outside interests include holistic health, meditation, exercise and crafting homemade greeting cards. She is blessed as a mother of wonderful grown twins.
